Castilla vs Real Alives – 2-0 – 25/10/25

I was able to watch the Castilla vs Real Alives game in the Stadium Alfredo di Stefano. To be honest, I am not that well versed in the history and team of Castilla. Nonetheless, the atmosphere in the stadium was impressive. The attendance got to 1670 people within the stadium. The fans were still as vocal and passionate as the match I went to in the Bernabeu against Juventus.

The game was an interesting contrast to first team football which is what I have been used to. The teams in possession were not as comfortable as the first however, the pressing was just as relentless. The first half was largely dominated by Castilla as they were able to string passes together. Throughout the game Castilla had most of their joy down the wings. The adept wing play in the first half lead to two goals from cross ending up on the boot of the number 9 within a few minutes. In the second half, signs of complacency were on show as Real Alives grew into the game causing defensive errors from Castilla which was result of Real Alives relentless press. However, the chances were few and far between to add to the score line.

The Man of the Match in my opinion was the number 14 for Castilla who put in a similar performance to a famous Real Madrid player who wore the same number Casemiro. He dominated the game on both sides but mainly on the defensive ended cleaning up attacks and driving with the ball.
